A picture I took in the isles of scilly last summer. Vignetting and colour adaptation done in adobe lightbox. Hope you enjoy this piece.

"good composition"?! Not really agreeing. The palm tree in the center spot is not really that great.

Wish there was something else apart from the palmtree to focus on, landline of interest, dof?

Sorry Jamie, but I have to agree with Patrick! It's very dull! There's nothing that makes this one pop out. It's a centered composition of a Palm tree, and the colors are not beautiful! That or my screen is really screwed!

I'd make this a silhouette. The detail and shape of the tree would be perfect for a silhouette. I like the tones. I'd definitely have placed to the tree off-center to create a pleasing composition and also provided more space below for ground area and maybe a little above as well. This photo has potential but is just do center. Play with blacks, contrast and see what a silhouette might look like. I think you'd like it.
